Challenge:

An offshore Operator required a workover to be conducted on an outlying production Well where platform crane height was restricted.

Solution:

Engineer Lifting Point to enable Gin Pole and Basket CombiLift.

Results:

CCI Engineered a lifting bridle and revised lift points on the HWOU that enabled a combination lift with the Gin Pole and upper work basket. The combination lift meant that the crane could be connected significantly lower and the workover unit could be rigged up on the outlying well to facilitate the workover.

Prior to mobilisation CCI conducted a test lift to ensure no delays to offshore activities.
