• Location: ERL, Dongara, Onshore Western Australia
• Operation: Unload unperforated casing string of heavy weight completion brine to “balance” well and allow safe perforation without formation damage or perforation string being blown up hole

Challenge:

Unload un-perforated well with very limited previous case history worldwide regarding swabbing in such large OD casing.

Solution:

CCI sourced swabbing equipment to allow 5 ½” casing with custom made “channeled” mandrel allowing safety bypass if required in unperforated well.

Results:

Clear Cut Interventions successfully unloaded well to required depth prior to perforation.

CCI then supplied and ran 3rd party gauges and hydrostatic gauge hanger in well prior to well testing operations.
